Artist Statement
As a multidisciplinary artist, filmmaker, and Black geographer with over 10 years of experience in video production—including work with Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church, Rutgers Student Affairs, the Black Ecologies Lab, and my own creative business—I specialize in transforming archival materials into powerful visual narratives. With technical expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop, I manage complex projects from concept to completion, blending creative storytelling with urban design to highlight the relationships between place, identity, and community. My work explores Black geographies and collective memory, offering clients thoughtful, high-quality films that preserve history and inspire new ways of seeing the spaces we share.
